SECOND LIFE

Hello again!! This time I want to talk about Second Life that is an online virtual world. Second Life users, also called residents, create virtual representations of themselves, called avatars and are able to interact with places, objects and other avatars. They can explore the world (known as the grid), meet other residents, socialize, participate in both individual and group activities, build, create, shop, and trade virtual property and services with one another. It can be used in education, too and it is a really beneficial tool. Students can join the virtual classroom and can participate the discussion without hesitating. It is pretty fun to learn by Second Life.

Istanbul University also created a place in Second Life called Erasmus City by which erasmus students can get the information they need online. Here is my avatar in front of the erasmus office. It is really useful.
